Francis D. Pagani, MD, PhD

Dr. Pagani is the Surgical Director of the University Michigan’s Heart Transplant Program and the Director for the Center for Circulatory Support. Dr. Pagani’s clinical expertise includes treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathies, valvular heart disease, heart transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. His translational research focuses on the use of mechanical circulatory support in the treatment of advanced heart disease and the use of stem cell transplantation for myocardial regeneration.
